These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Outbreak Tycoon (the “Game”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use the Game in your country. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf and supervise any purchases.
2. Limited license
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Game for non-commercial entertainment purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform from which you downloaded it.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Game;
- reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use cheats, automation, modified clients, or unauthorized tools to interfere with gameplay or services;
- bypass security, payment, advertising, or access-control mechanisms;
- disrupt servers, networks, or another user’s experience; or
- use the Game for unlawful or harmful activity.
4. Virtual items and currency
Biomass, Mutant DNA, boosts, upgrades, and other in-game content are fictional, licensed game features. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for real money, and are not your property. We may balance, modify, limit, or discontinue virtual items when reasonably necessary to maintain or improve the Game.
5. In-app purchases
The Game may offer optional paid products. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store and are subject to that store’s payment terms, refund rules, and parental controls. Except where required by law or platform rules, completed purchases are final and non-refundable.
Prices, availability, and product contents may change. You are responsible for protecting your device and store account from unauthorized purchases.
6. Advertising and third-party services
The Game may display advertisements or provide links and features operated by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, availability, or practices. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
7. Intellectual property
The Game and its code, artwork, characters, designs, text, audio, branding, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. “Outbreak Tycoon” and associated branding may not be used without prior written permission.
8. Save data and availability
Local progress may be lost if you uninstall the Game, clear app storage, reset your device, or encounter corruption or technical failure. You are responsible for maintaining available backups where the platform supports them.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Game. Online features may be unavailable during maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control.
9. Updates
Updates may add, remove, or change features and may be required to continue using the Game. Platform settings may install updates automatically. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the updated Game and any revised Terms.
10. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of game progress. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, progress, profits, or access arising from use of or inability to use the Game. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Game during the previous twelve months or the minimum amount required by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Game at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Game, create legal or security risk, or where continued service is no longer reasonably possible. Provisions intended to survive termination will remain effective.
13. Governing rules
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without overriding any mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence. Any dispute should first be raised through the contact method below so the parties can attempt an informal resolution.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the Game, our services, platform requirements, or the law. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
